Beauty in the eye of the beholder.

My mind is full of beautiful connected moments from my time away that I am still digesting to share with you. It's been a few weeks and I have been lucky to get some fresh crisp air with time to sit and settle my thoughts. I have been fortunate enough to go snowboarding for the first time yesterday in Vermont. I must say that even though I am very sore, I love sitting in this cozy lake-side cottage immersed in nature with the white snow flakes covering the area in a blanket of glistening pearly white goodness. It is enough inspiration to get me to think, write and share just some of the stories from my trip.

This picture is of a little girl sitting in the alley with her family.

It was taken in Baroda at a huge outdoor vegetable/fruit/flower market.

The colors and light really took to me. After sorting through the 2,000 or so pictures I took I noticed a pattern in what my lens captured - Colors, Children and Nature. All elements that embody lots of energy and joy.

To me they all Glow.

My moment here was the awe and beauty of the family, the little girl, slowly eating her lunch with her father and brother in the alley. Family. Number 1 priority in India is the closeness in distance each family member is to one another. Family and religion is their food.

I will continue later, as I head out of Vermont and back to New York.

Enjoy the picture and remember to keep your family close if not in distance then by communication.

Your voice rings strong and true, with purity and warmth. I'm looking forward to watching you unveil it now that you are ready to show the world.

Anyone can see that your heart doth runneth over; and that there is nothing inside it to see -- but beauty.

Your picture themes really ring true for me too...something about nature and children and the elderly really speak out to us. Maybe it has something to do with purity.

Great stuff!!!!
